When discussing the concepts of "education" and "teaching", conventional educational institutions, such as schools,
typically come to mind. However, libraries also make a significant contribution to public education. Learning theories
in educational sciences are dynamic and consistently updated to remain current. It is essential that any location that
facilitates learning activities is cognizant of these trends and incorporates them into its philosophy of education. To
establish the foundation for innovative library design, it is necessary to understand the zeitgeist and the current
requirements of users. This study aims to examine innovative education methods, evaluate their applicability
concerning design criteria such as flexibility, sustainability, accessibility, and offer an updated design pathway for
library buildings.
