The aim of this research is to evaluate the urban texture and landscape value of the Western Campus of Hüseyin Avni Ulaş Neighborhood, a new settlement area in Erzurum, through visual quality analysis. A visual quality analysis was conducted based on the photographs taken from the study area. The survey prepared for the visual quality analysis was conducted with undergraduate and graduate students studying at Atatürk University’s Faculty of Architecture and Design during the 2024-2025 academic year. The survey consists of two stages. In the first stage, the urban texture of the study area was examined, focusing on aspects such as plant diversity, landscape quality, and the visual appearance of building facades. In the second stage, the parks within the study area were evaluated based on criteria such as their overall visual impact, structural design, and the quality of plant design. Participants were asked to rate these aspects accordingly. The survey data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS software. Based on the results obtained, deficiencies in the urban texture and landscape value of the Western Campus of Hüseyin Avni Ulaş Neighborhood were identified, and planning and design recommendations were proposed for sustainable development.
